There is definitely something in that barrel. If you can't tell for sure what it is with bore scope, try shooting it out first (not a fan of the grease thing) Go to a shooting area, tie the gun down to a strong table or something. tie a string to trigger, put a cap on the nipple, step back a long way (30 ,40 feet) pull string. Just make sure no one is close to gun and gun is tied down strongly. If it doesn't fire,( go bang) pull nipple off get some powder, pour some in hole tap that powder in as much as you can, .put nipple back on put cap on, tie string back on trigger step back again, pull string. Doesn't fire out then do the grease thing. Manly telling you this because I have a place to safely shoot and try different things. Before pumping grease I'm going to take a look with a borescope. I'll update my findings as to what I see Monday. Hopefully I'll know for sure what's going on down there.

Over the last three days I've had the barrel full of bore cleaner, CLR, and soapy water soaking. Even if there is a load of powder in there, do you think it would ignite? There is definitely something in that barrel. To clarify...not all at the same time...different soaks.Over the last three days I've had the barrel full of bore cleaner, CLR, and soapy water soaking. Even if there is a load of powder in there, do you think it would ignite?

Very important! You don't know exactly what is in there. Evidently stuck pretty good. I would not take a chance on using a ball puller, putting a hole through the ball or whatever and ruining your chance of success with a grease gun. Then you may have to pull the breech plug which you rather not have to do.If using a ball puller, be sure not to make a hole all the way thru the ball or the grease method will not work if needed.
Already done that...6MM new nipples . Got same 6MM grease zerks too.No.
Now that all those solvents have been applied, it's time for the grease gun.
Shooting the obstruction out isn't a stupid idea, but since you don't know what the obstruction is, and the charge has been suitably nullified by soapy water and bore cleaners, use the grease gun.
Remove the nipple to determine the thread pitch for the zerk fitting and push it out. The grease gun can apply more pressure to the obstruction than the compressed air you tried or using a CO2 discharger.
I think you need someone to hold your beer & watch before trying that method of "removal"!There is definitely something in that barrel. Only going on what Dixie Gun , and many videos said what was safe way of shooting a unknown gun. As well of doing that ar least 3 times myself. I have only 45+ years of shooting Black Powder guns. Yes not knowing for sure how it was loaded and with what is first thing to be considered . Sorry for my stupidity.I think you need someone to hold your beer & watch before trying that method of "removal"!
