    No flaking. Just different degrees of polishing on the blade. It has the look of a custom made and hand forging of the blade. Because I’m sure that’s the case. It doesn’t look like a mass produced knife.

    I don’t know. Picked it up at the big gun show in Tulsa a couple of years ago. Spent those two years in the top of my closet. Trying to thin out my knives and create some more storage space. It’s in new condition.

    I measured the thickness and the spine at its thickest point is 1/4inch thick. Again, nice heavy duty knife.

    The guy who made this knife has been making knives for a long time. I’ve bought other knives of his that have been good solid knives. I still think this is a nice knife and would make a great looking custom made knife for someone doing a mountain man or other frontier looking impression.
