    muslin as patch?

    anybody ever use this stuff my groups are still good and I can start ball with my thumb I've only used it at 50 yds but thats about as far as I would shoot anyway.

    cabelas blueridge caliber

    I have decided to go with this gun for my first flinter now what caliber? I have all 50cal caplocks but was wondering if there would be any advantage to a 36 or 45 to start with in flintlock.

    Why is the kit so much cheaper than the finished gun?I would like to get a flintlock and am thinking the t/c kit would be the best buy for my money can anyone give me some ideas on this. If the kit is lesser quality then I will wait but it appears to be a pretty simple build am I missing...
