I found a link for the publication. https://blackpowderrifleaccuracy.com/

    Chief of War

I was listening to the most recent episode of the “I love muzzleloading” podcast. The podcast featured Steve Auvenshine who makes spectacular knives. He also mentioned that he was the lead armor for a series on Apple TV called “Chief of War”. He mentioned that it had a lot of Flintlock action...

I have one of your bags. I can attest to great quality and great customer interaction. Anthony

    2023 Wisconsin Bear

I like bear hunting! Good luck on your future hunt.

    Underhammer in the woods

I’ve never seen one of these in person. Maybe one day I’ll run across one. Very nice looking rifle! Anthony

    Ordered a Crockett .32

Well, I finally have it in my possession. Initial impressions of the fit and finish seem pretty solid. I just wiped it down a bit and set it in the safe. On another note, I normally don’t name rifles. However, considering the journey this rifle has been on, I’m going to name it “Traveller”...

    Ordered a Crockett .32

I don’t mind the rain, but it’s not conducive for Blackpowder shooting. Like you, I like a heavier muzzle for steady shooting. Tennessee squirrel season ends in mid March, so hopefully I’ll have time to get set up and get some hunts in. Anthony

    Ordered a Crockett .32

I’m not going to waste my time with them, just thinking out loud. And I saw the post on those ram rods. I already have in my cart to ship. I like the way it looks as well. It adds a touch of class to an already nice looking rifle. Anthony

    Ordered a Crockett .32

Updated good news! I received word that my rifle had been delivered safe and sound to my parents house. It seems like forever since this has been going on (nearly a month). On a side note, my parents arrived home and found the rifle sitting next to the front door. They didn’t sign for it...

    Another Crockett Post!

I’m making a note of it now. Thanks for the tip!

    Another Crockett Post!

That adds a touch of class. I’m sold! I’ll definitely be ordering one when ever mine decides to arrive.

    Ordered a Crockett .32

One other thing that I failed to mention. My 19 year old son is home for his winter break from college. He can’t sign because he’s not 21 ( but he could go buy it). And that’s another day, another topic. Anyway, he told the driver that someone would be home after five. He told that to the...

    Early antler drop/no fat

I haven’t seen that here thus far. I do recall that a buddy of mine had the antler of one of his bucks come off as he was dragging it last fall. And as for the fat, we had a good acorn mast this year ( at least in my area) so I haven’t seen many skinny deer. Anthony

    Ordered a Crockett .32

And the sad thing is, that we have an airport and FedEx distribution center literally miles from where I work. Going forward, I’ll not order anything if it’s being shipped by FedEx unless it’s life or death. Anthony

    Ordered a Crockett .32

I hope it’s here by the end of February. I think that’s when Tennessee wraps up the squirrel season ( I need to double check because they were taking about extending it). But, traditionally, it ends in the last day in February. If nothing else, I’ll have it ready for a spring season and then...

    Ordered a Crockett .32

So, an update. It delivered. In three attempts. I repeatedly told Fed Ex that I work and would not be home till after 5. So, what do they do? Delivery attempts at 0939, 0935 and 0924. I’m furious with them! Here is the other catch. It’s being held at a Fed Ex facility. I can’t pick it up...

    A dad find..

I checked the Goex can and it has a 2002 date. Looking at those cans brought back a lot of memories of hunting with my Dad. It brought a perspective on why I enjoy this hobby so much. Anthony
