    I've been looking into getting a custom flintlock made. It's going to one of these calibers and I plan on hunting squirrels, ground hogs, coon, and other small furry critters. I'd also like to go to some skirmishes with it. I've been leaning toward the 40. What are your thoughts?

    I have a Lyman Deerstalker flintlock with a 24" barrel and a 1in48" twist. What would be a good overall mould for it? By overall I mean deer, bear, and posibly moose in the future. I was thinking either a 370gr Lyman Maxi-Ball or a 385gr Lyman Plains. Thanks.

    My dream hunt has always been a Shiras moose hunt with my Lyman Deerstalker 50cal. I was wondering if a 75gr. load of FFg pwder and a 444gr. Powerbelt FP would do the job? Thanks.
