paper cartridges for my different revolvers

I have not shot or made cartridge cartridges for 40 years. I've been planning to make my first paper cartridges for my new revolver. My revolver is a 1851 Colt Navy Series gun, .36 caliber, steel framed. I would be satisfied with a medium charge, what is the recommended ball diameter(s)? I...

Would like information on paper cartridges made for revolvers where you just ram the paper cartridge the cylinder.

Can you ship a percussion Sharps through the USPS?

When still in business a Fed Agent that checked my books gave me some baloney about registering all firearms, muzzleloaders that were pre 1898 and muzzleloaders that were replicas along with modern guns. Can you ship a percussion Sharps through the USPS?

I use my local gun shop (FFL Dealer), he charges me $25.00 shipping and $25.00 FFL paperwork (I get that free because of having a concealed weapons permit for my state).

Bear Paws Anti Rust & Patch Lube

I would apply the lube with a small paint brush (well covered), lay the strips on a cokkie sheet to catch the run off, set the tin in the sun for a few hours. Then scrap off the excess. Or as Jonathan has mentioned "post" above this one. .

    What blows me away...

Red squirrels even gray ones can be troublemakers, have put many of those little bastards down over the years. I had a comp gun in .177 that I sold a few weeks ago, now need to replace it with a less expensive one. Hindsight can bite you when you're busy ....

    What blows me away...

That's pretty neat, have been a fan of air guns since I was a little kid. Many, many years ago ... Many of the early European leaders (Napoleon and others) had rules (never followed) about air rifles and crossbows, you would get put down if caught with one. They were afraid of the silent...

    What blows me away...

Air guns represent the oldest pneumatic technology. The oldest existing mechanical air gun, dates back to about 1580, and is in the Livrustkammaren Museum in Stockholm. This is approximately when most historians recognize as the beginning of the modern air gun. Throughout 17th to 19th century...
