Any SxS trap shooters out there?

Just learned that the Hungarian ML trap team(I'm sure others as well) use (semolina) durum wheat in place of the wad. . Powder . Wheat . Shot . Overshot card The weight of the shot immediately compacts the bottom half of the wheat column not allowing the shot to fall all the way through this is...

    Cva mountain rifle

That's the general consensus I've gotten from today's research. The usa one "may" be better but the only thing the Spanish ones leave to be desired is the usa stamp. Haven't heard or read a single complaint about them other than the simple fact that it isn't usa made. And in todays market 100...

    Cva mountain rifle

Good deal! It looked like it was cut in the factory but just seemed odd. I'm not gonna go crazy with assembling this kit but will try to refine the shape/lines some!

    Cva mountain rifle

Visiting my brother in Iowa. Went out to some local shops today while they watched the Hawkeye game and found this! 1979 cva mountain rifle kit in 50 cal. Appears to have all the pieces. Paid $100! I'm pretty happy with it! It does however have an odd thing going on with the cheek piece. Anyone...

    E.M. Reilly wildfowler

This is what gene williams wrote in his own words about the son E.M. Reilly. This conclusion of character was formed after he had read every word of his will, advertisments for the company, and articles by em reilly that is readily availible today. Em Reilly even wrote a poem where he basicly...

Ha! Yup ive read that many hollands were birmingham guns finished by H&H and not manufactured by them from scratch. Reilly for decades was just a couple doors down from purdy. Wonder how many potential purdy customers wound up with a reilly instead?

    E.M. Reilly wildfowler

J.C. and E.M. Reilly supposedly made 25,000+ serialized guns in their 90 years of gunmaking, BIG NUMBERS! -only putting serial numbers on the ones they personally made. Gene williams our u.s. expert(possibly the world expert on reilly) has found around 800 existing serialized guns. Sure they are...

Diggory hadoke has a video on youtube about a reilly double rifle that has lived its life in africa. Great to see these fine guns being used!

Very cool! Certainly tells more of a story than mine. And ive been looking on holts, may have found a few in the august 15th sealed bid that ill try to get. What i find interesting about my reilly is that the stock is slightly cast on. I presume it was built for a left handed customer
