    Here is the result of my 2014 4th period hunt in WI. Colerain turkey barrel, 90 grains 3FG, 2 overshot cards, 1 3/4 oz #6 ITX, one overshot card at 20 yds. Took some calling and manuevering to get him to come, but come he did!

    You may want to pattern some duplex loads too! I have had good results on large canada geese with BB/ #1, BB/#3 in steel and in ITX. I have used #2 steel with #5 ITX on late season ducks and #4/#6 ITX for turkeys. I dont always use these combos, but experimented when I had shot to use up...

    Help Barrel Problem!

    I have a JB 11 ga. smoothie with his barrel. I have hunted geese with it for about 5 years. No problems whatsoever. I do not see any barrel seam inside or out, but it doesnt mean it isnt there. I also jug choked the barrel and did not see a seam show up in the choked area either.

    .44 1851 served well when called on.

    In the outdoors job I retired from, I had to put down a few animals over 30 years. All of them were diseased in some way. You did more than protect your dogs that day. You helped out the rest of the wild population too.
