    Honest Opinion on Sale Value?

Fellas, I do appreciate the thoughtful, informative responses. In some of my other hobbies (RC jets, in particular), people just can't seem to help themselves with the non-helpful, pseudo-comic replies. Gets old fast! Thanks for the info I'm actually asking for!

    Honest Opinion on Sale Value?

Hi I've had a Colt Signature Series 1861 sitting around for a while, and I'm considering selling it. I don't know what it's worth in its current condition, though. It's not perfect, with some surface discoloration near the hammer. The barrel is good with no pitting and sharp rifling. The...

FOR SALE new unfired 1860 44 snub nose

Ha! Even though I've got one of these (exact one), I'd have bought this! I've got some video of my then-14-y.o. son and shooting it. This pistol is SHOCKINGLY accurate with the right load! In my video, my kid is hitting an 8"x12" steel gong 4 out of 6 shots with 25 grains of T7 and a .454...

    Kibler price increase

You know what's REALLY not hurting Kibler? The fact that every time I see one, I never think, "Gee. That dude should have taken his time.... or gotten some help.... or not used a chainsaw." Self-proclaimed 'first-time builders' post comments about how they just received their kit and love it...

    Pyrodex in a Flintlock

Hi Duplex loads work fine. Id be shocked if the people who say it doesn't have ever actually tried it. 5 grains of real BP under Pyro or T7 go off, hesitation-free, each and every time for me. For decades.

Frying venison & the game warden,,,,

Don't look now, but NO Democrat stands a chance in Texas ever again. They've tailored the election laws to make sure of that. The party in power controls whose votes are even counted and if the 'wrong' guy wins.... they just de-certify it. Neato, huh?

After two years finally got to shoot my Baker Rifle

Nice! Just sent those pics to a buddy who played one of the main supporting characters on that Sharpe's show with Sean Bean. He'll get a kick out of seeing someone actually shooting a Baker.

    Real Black Powder

I've never had any ignition problems with Pyrodex. None. I've experimented with it (and T7) in my rock-lock, and get positive ignition 70% of the time. It hang fires 20% of the time and needs 2 or 3 pans about 10% of the time. Obviously, that's not acceptable performance, so I 'prime' the...
