    Apparently there must have been a run of 24 inch Hawkens at some point. It would interesting to learn how many were made.

    It has the patch box without the ring of wood that forign made Hawkens usually have. The barrel says Thompson/Center 54 Cal. HAWKEN.

    T/C Hawken carbine?

    I have a T/C Hawken 54 caliber that has a 24 inch barrel. I bought it used several years ago, and have never seen another one like it. The Hawken always has a 28 inch barrel, and the Renegade has what - a 26 inch barrel? Anybody shed any light on this?
