been to the woods 3 times in 3 weeks, walking trails, checking feeders & trail cameras, and looks like this will be a lean year, gotta search far & wide to find a few scrawny acorns. not much for a squirrel to eat in my areas, and have seen dang few squirrels, guess the late freezes we had this...- FyrepowrX

Billygoat..yup, .56 smooth bore, and if i remember right i was using about 7/8 of an ounce of #6 shot, with an equal volume FFg...experimented with that one a while, as i recall it didnt pattern real good, or at least not with the stuff i ran through it. maybe i was doin something wrong though... -

T/C Seneca loads ????
most accurate loads are around 25 grains in my seneca, but it was acceptable with loads down as light as 15grains. ditto on the loading, much as i like my cherokees, i wish they were .36's instead of .32's.- FyrepowrX

we got lucky on the chiggers, part of the area that has the best squirrel hunting on my place we burned this spring before greenup, cleared out a lot of brush & really helped with the chiggers & ticks. deer liked it too, a few weeks after the fire the return growth was great, and they hit it...- FyrepowrX
