thanks for the help and advice - I didn't think about a dow rod....that's easy. I was going to use a broken arrow and insert a ramrod/cleaner piece into the end. I was using 490 balls for the 50, but probably thicker patches (the only pack they had in the store at the time). Someone else just... -
