    T/C Renegade question from a newbie

    I hunt with the T/C Renegade in .54 cal. Only mine has the 1 in 48 twist. I love this rifle and prefer it to some of the other muzzleloaders i have had the chance to hunt with. I have found it to be easy to clean and love the hair trigger when you use the set trigger on the Renegade models...

    Thanks for the input folks. I think I might try the sabots and if they don't shoot well, may go with a conical instead. If all else fails, there is always the round ball.

    Which T/C to get?

    I love my t/c renegade in 54 cal. I would actually recommend the new englander, though. Bigger trigger guard for hunting with gloves on, no set trigger, and a lighter-weight and more compact rifle makes it easier to use in the field.
