    Changing powder

    I have a Pedersoli 12ga and have a hard time finding black powder if I changed from a #11 cap to a mag spark that uses 209 primer and use black horn 209,normal black powder charge is 80 grains goex ffg. Would this work and what would the Black horn 209 equivalent charge be.

    Black powder shotgun barrel pitting ?

    I was given a CVA black powder shotgun and the barrel is badly pitted, I used emery cloth medium cut with oil to clean it up twice to see how bad it is, it shows bad pitting half was down the barrel as far as I could see. I have miced the barrel from choke down the length of the bore mic...
