    I shoot both a 50 cal and a 62 cal (20 gauge). I would indeed like to switch to 3F in all of them so I only have to carry one horn Whats a good starting load for 50 and 62 cal? Thanks in advance Bob :)

    Chopping down a Bess.

    I'm actually new to the smoothbore arena,having used a 50 cal fullstock flintlock I built in 1991. I actually have a 24" Northwest gun in the work. I was going to use it for an "Across the Saddle" cannon and small game hunter, but if its working on deer in CO then I might have to give it a try...
