    Antique Colt 1860 Army Engraved

I'm usually not too much into engraving , but WOW, I really like this one. Seems like a perfect balance to me. I agree with BK in that I think bone would look really good on that finish. Very nice ! Your photography skills aren't too bad either. Nice work!

    Caps ... where ?

Got 3 tins at Grafs last month. RWS 1075 #11 for $38/tin of 250 Added 4 lbs powder to spread out the $23.50 hazmat fee, free shipping. Yes, expensive, but as a new shooter like you and searching for weeks for caps, they began to look cheap, at least to lay in a start up supply.

    Cataract Surgury and Shooting

My experience was incredible as well. I got Panoptixs (for far, mid and near vision) in both eyes 2 months ago. I can see and focus at all distances and havent touched readers since the surgery. With regular rifle and pistol irons I have no problems with a clean focus on rears and fronts and...

    .36 cal balls in .375 and .380

I appreciate all the responses. I'm going to try both but am certainly leaning towards the .380s now. Been searching for .380s but can't seem to find any and in my old age I can't remember where I first saw them offered. Are you guys casting your own?

    .36 cal balls in .375 and .380

Hello all.. I'm just getting started with percussion arms and I have a new Pietta 1851 Navy London that i'm rounding up components for. I have been reading alot about percussion revolvers and their care and feeding and I noted that for the .36 cal, most folks seem to recognize the ball diameter...

Glad to have found this group!

Glad to be here. I'm over in Burnet, about 60 miles west of Austin. I agree with the scamming racket. Almost took the bait last night, but the numbers didn't add up, especially when no one else had any caps, that I was able to find. Now scammers are coming out of the wood work and as many of...

Glad to have found this group!

I go by Gibby and I retired recently. Been actively shooting since age 6, handloading since age 16 and been shooting for fun, a little hunting and a lot competition at all levels. I'm an NRA life member and have shot just about everything but cowboy action, black powder and sporting clays. I...
