    I have one of the Spanish percussion shotguns in .410. It is well used with pitting around the nipple.Probably circa 1960 I brought it back from the Darien Gap. I traded one of those US stainless pocket knives for it. It hangs in my den.

    Those tacks look pretty old pull one to see if it has a square shank. I suspect this may be an older piece than we suspect. But I do think it has south of the border origins. I think this is a late form of trade gun possibly late 19th or early 20th century. I have seen similar things in south...

    I belive it is French, very old, and was owned by a well healed man to own a double gun. It is 16 gauge with 47 inch barrels. And one is still loaded.

    I tried 60 gr ffg and 7/8s number 6 im sure it is all I need up here for partridge and rabbits. I settled on 70 grs for roundball. This is a 6 lb gun anymore was starting to buck a bit. I was surprised because im not stranger to tooth rattling recoiol.

    Just picked up a caywood game gun with 28 gauge and 50 cal barrels. What loads do you guys use for round ball and shot for the .28 gauge.
