Perfect, that's how I've been storing mine, frizzen open and hammer dropped. Might have to plug the barrel also just to be safe. Thanks for all the replies!- BWAR77

Hi everyone, have a question, what's the best way to store a flintlock lock-wise? I'm thinking hammer fully down and frizzen closed or open? Seems there's less pressure on the spring with the frizzen open but only slightly more with it closed. Just curios if there's a correct way to position the...- BWAR77
