    Guns left in the

    I have a mowrey 32 that I left the metal in the white and lightly charred the maple stock to bring out the stripes, then oiled with dark walnut stain. Looks really sharp, but you gotta oil it or it will rust easy. Just sitting in my safe it rusts when the browned and blued barrels hold up easy...

    Pedersoli frontier

    I have a percussion frontier rifle I would like to convert to flintlock. I was under the impression I could take out the drum, replace with a liner, replace the lock and WHOLLA a flinter. Is this true? Looks like it would work but wanted to make sure. Thanks to all who responde.

    I am using oxyoke prelubed patches. I cant tell where the patche starts burning. It kind of shredded into a smoldering mess. not much left of it. I will try miking the bore. Shot fine in my other 62. Thanks for the imput you all
