Real Black Powder in Wisconsin
I just started with a flinter and had a similar problem looking for powder in Wisconsin. The GoEx Website lists a dealer in Onalaska, but they do not sell powder anymore. I tried Olsen's in Green Bay as well but the person I spoke to on the telephone said they only sold substitutes - no actual...- ftower

CK, the only comparison I have is to a Pedersoli Bess I'd seen at the local Cabelas. Overall, the MVTC wood is good but, as others have noted, a bit rough. The grain pattern is a bit larger than what's on the Pedersoli. I had concerns that it would be 'too red' as some have noted on the forum...- ftower
