    I had one of them hopkins and allen swivels before.The lock spring doubles as the sear spring giving it a slow lock time and a hard trigger pull and weak hammer hit.Other than those problems and the looseness in the swivel part it was O.K.It would Bring back memories if nothin else.

    I bought a ruger carbine made off the old army pistol today.Its not a pistol converted but was originaly made as a carbine.It is marked on the barrel (made in 200th year of american liberty).Its unfired and like new and I paid 700.00 for it.The serial#45-0004.Has anybody seen one of these before.

    Yea he did good.L.days guns have sky rocketed in price these days when you can find one.I dont know why as he aparently is still making them.I gave 650.00 for mine back in 1990 and bought it unused 2nd hand.Dixie had one that was built from a kit a year ago that sold for 1375.00.
