    It’s for a fuse! 🧨 Just Incase you want too convert it too a matchlock….😎 Seriously, I have no idea what the screw hole is for.🤷‍♂️ But I definitely would put some duck tape around the tang & close both eyes before firing it in either configuration….👍😎
