    Gardening ..again

Already brought cooked beans with me from home. Trying to finish eating last year’s harvest from the freezer. But that’s pretty much how we cook it. My Wife uses Andouille sausage or Taso instead of beacon, but it’s all good and yes, you got to have onions. I’ve already snapped, blanched, and...

    Gardening ..again

Back at the camp after a week at home. Don’t think it rained a drop here while I was gone so I went to water the beans and okra. Was very surprised to find the beans loaded. But turns out I planted bush beans instead of pole beans!!! I keep a couple of containers in the freezer packed with...

    Woodsrunner CNC Incised Carving

Agree, the horizontal lines on mine are hard for me to warm up to. The incised carvings themselves are great. I've no doubt the lines are historically correct if Jim took the trouble to cut them in, but I wish they weren't there. However, it's still a fine rifle.

This Poor Renegade had to come home with me

No right or wrong either way, just depends on how fine a finish you want to end up with. If you do decide to file some more I'd suggest not overworking any one area, keep the flats blended evenly. It looks good to me.

Same here. We eat them a couple times a day as long as they're producing. Usually have plenty to freeze for soup and sauces. The only store bought tomatoes my Wife buys in the off season are some of the cherry tomatoes they import and not many of them.
