    Knife, Sheath, and Patch Pouch

And it’s incredibly tough and easy to work. Very little if any odor, you have to hold it to your nose and it smell like smoked salmon. I got a couple of sides in a trade I made with an ALRF member in Alaska about 2 years ago. Still have some left from various projects, wish I had more.

And if you add a bit of real gum turpentine to the T&T it will really help it soak in smoothly and dries much faster. You don’t need much turpentine, maybe 10-15 parts T&T to 1 part turpentine. But I’ve found the ratio is very forgiving. Just add a little gum turpentine at a time, stir it in...

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Agree with @longcruise. When I looked at the photos last night my signal was weak and the photos were loading slow, I missed the one with the patches. Too much fraying going on. But, since I’ve never shot a .32 that might be more the norm.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Thanks. I’m thinking a possibles/shooting bag with trade beads and a cotton web strap to start. Then maybe a couple of flint wallets. If the bag turns out ok then maybe a couple more. But it’s so pretty I hate to start cutting it up! I’m thinking you could use a nice flint wallet.

    Finishing a Kibler Walnut Stock

I’m no expert, but I’ve used both the Permalyn and Birchwood Casey. They both dry quickly so you don’t won’t to dilly dally with the application. I’ve only used the BC on walnut, but the Permalyn should do the job with multiple coats with sanding in between.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

I do not like rattlesnakes. Now if I see one off the beaten track in the woods I leave them be. But on a main trail or around the camp they’re are dealt with quickly. I’m too far away from help to get bit.
