    Thanks. No it’s from a hickory blank. I’m taking a break from the shop right now. Just finished blueing the barrel. All I have left to do is install the sights and put it together but I’m going to rest for a while. Don’t want to screw up here at the end!

    Gardening ..again

    The best cure that I’ve found is to buy a bottle of liquid calcium. Mix with water as direct in a hand spray bottle and spray the plants throughly, tops and leaf bottoms, about the time they start to bloom. I’ve been doing this 4-5 years and it has eliminated bottom end rot. Just one application...

    Thanks! It is a pretty piece of wood. Taking those photos in bright sunlight made it look somewhat lighter than it actually is. Here’s a few from inside, which makes it look darker than it actually is!
