    Gardening ..again

Good question and I don't know the answer. Here at home we have a good, deep well. Water is full of minerals and taste great. Has to be beneficial to the plants. At the camp, in the middle of nowhere, I actually have township water, even though there are no real towns anywhere close. It's...

    Gardening ..again

I've got several that are starting to color now just in the couple of days I've been home. Won't be long now.

Well, I had $15 burning a hole in my pocket so I just ordered a set from Amazon. Just something else to play with.

    Just born tonight.

Yep. Here, our fawns don’t drop until August. No bush hogging until late September. Too hot to be on the tractor anyway.

Sure, it will work with the proper oil mix, but it won’t store well and I wouldn’t leave any in the tank or carburetor.

    Gardening ..again

I pay the extra money and use non-ethanol in all the small engines, 4 wheelers, and jeep. Add preservative to gas I keep in cans at the camp. And the chain saw and weed eater get run dry unless I know they'll be used again soon. Same with the log splitter, I drain the gas and let it run dry...

From what I read about it the engine name is Viper, but I couldn't find where it's made.

    Awfully quiet over at Kiblers.

Be careful @Eric Krewson, just typing those words in a post got me fussed at.

The spring season is open in both Louisiana and Mississippi, but it's already too hot for me. I'll be working on my .36 and get it ready for fall.

    Elk train last month…

Just awesome to see! The only elk I’ve ever seen are some of the small herd in northwest Arkansas. Not quite the same.

What is it that pulls us into muzzle loading!

I grew up with guns, shooting, and hunting. Watching Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone. But never got interested in ML's until after seeing Jeremiah Johnson in '73. It still wasn't until '80 or '81 that I bought my TC Renegade. And at the time it was mainly a way to extend hunting season. Didn't...

    Gardening ..again

Keeping my fingers crossed that the home garden continues to do well, I’m pleased so far. My Wife has been harvesting yellow squash and banana peppers for a week or so. I’m going to harvest more squash, peppers, and the first zucchini today. Tomatoes are loaded but still not turning color yet...
