    Fort de Chartres

I've got just about anything you could want. The only thing I don't have at this time is an HB white with a black stripe, which is hard to come by at a decent price. Prices range from 50- 150.

    Lucky little buck

Not legal where I live, they have to have at least 4 points on one side.

    Fort de Chartres

The state of Illinois maintains the official site, and the local group hosting the event has very little control over it.

Hunting - Need your clean/cold bore 1st shot to hit w/ the rest of the shots?

I've never found it to make much difference when you're talking about hunting accuracy, competition yes it does. I shoot F-class also.

    Fort de Chartres

It's only a few weeks out now for the Fort. If any of you fine folks are looking for some nice blankets, capotes, or Mackinaws, stop by my camp. I've got a pretty nice collection for this year.

FOR SALE Buyer beware Reloading Depot

PayPal will refund your money if you used the standard payment method, if it was F&F you're out of luck. PayPal is pretty serious about fraud and will try to come to the bottom of the issue it may take a week or two but it's certainly worth a shot.

How my early doe season went

I killed two, one Friday and one Sunday. However, I wasn't using my flinter just modern Fiream. I'll wait a bit for the bucks to get into rut before I go that route.

    Fort de Chartres

You're correct most of that info is on the main site but if you have a facebook account you can ask any question on the facebook page. The person to ask would be Jennifer Duensing. I might be able to answer most of your questions I've only been going there for 30 years.

    Fort de Chartres

I normally use the Facebook page, even though I don't have an account you can access the info.

    Fort de Chartres

Are you talking about the official site or the facebook page?

    so hard to wait

Yes, it falls off. I killed a moose in Newfoundland that was in velvet, and it fell off in about a week or so. After it dried out, I aged it with brown leather dye, and it turned out looking almost as if it had aged naturally.

Working out of a traditional tool chest?

I'd be embarrassed to even show my shop it's much worse than that.
  14. andy52

    so hard to wait

    Could be.

    so hard to wait

I've got my eye on this one for my flinter.

I meet you there last year.

    Fort de Chartres

I'll be staying there on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and yes, you'd have to book a year in advance for that weekend. It is a very nice old house that has been restored and is beautiful. The food is good, and it has a great staff.
