    So, is it a .69 caliber smoothbore or a .69 caliber rifle? Maybe its a rifled-musket. I would think a rear sight would have been added if the barrel was rifled before or during the Civil War. Condition is very good. The bayonet looks excellent.

    FWIW, taking photos with a smartphone can be a bear, especially inside. For better results, take the photos outside on an overcast day with no sun. It eliminates the flash from the phone, and shadows. This comment is not meant to hijack the ad, just trying to improve the sale ability of the gun.
