Trunions look small for being an old one. Seems awful smooth for being found in a lake. How big is bore?

    Trophy Point at West Point

Look at all those guns, so much history. I kinda wish they werent out in the open weather like that, but the bronze ones will probably be ok.

South Bend makes a nice tube. Looks like TRO did a very nice job on the carriage. I wish he made some steel rev war guns too but hes mostly civil war. Nice rig! Nice thing about 2.25 bore is you can shoot soda/beer cans. Im about to receive my 3 pounder 2.91 and its a little harder to find ammo.

    Hello Cannoneers!

DGW is selling Hern tubes. I dont know if dixie drills the vent for you but Hern does not. I personally wont buy a cannon from any manufacturer who claims their guns are fireable but wont drill the vent.

Is Hern The Only Manufacturer Left?

Steen was supposed to be of high quality but i requested a price on a couple cannon n carriage models and let me tell you, $50,000-$60,000 for a 6 pounder and $40,000-$50,000 for a carriage?!! Not surprised it crashed, who can afford that?
