I didn't want to be a glutton, but if nobody else wants this, I'll take it. I don't remember how I paid for my daily-carry wallet, so how do I send you the gold? Thanks, Brazos

Looking for a long range rod.

I have 2 brass ramrods from October Country., with the threads and ends as I requested. OC doesn't list a 54" rod, but since they make theirs to custom lengths, they might be able to help you. My long rod was shipped in a pvc pipe and arrived straight and unbent.

Where to buy black powder in Central/South Texas?

But the perp is already gone! He won't be buying anymore anytime soon. More examples of locking the gate after the horses got out... OTOH, I've never been able to find BP at Bass Pro or Cabela's in the Houston vicinity. I use a small shop in NW Houston - 10Ring on Jones Road. Pricey before...

SOLD - Pending funds Liege boot pistol of large caliber

Similar boot or muff pistols with solid stocks go for $350 all the time. If I had the patience for woodworking, this would already be gone. But, don't let me get in the way of negotiations... :thumb:

    HOW RURAL IS RURAL?

Foxy is the size of a dog! The only fox I've ever seen was a lot closer to the ground. But the long, bushy tail is unmistakable. Great photos, and a neat look into a life so far from Texas! Keep on keeping on!

    Disappointments in this life

I had some older (free, possibly Remington with the green charge) caps that left a membrane or something over the flash hole on a rifle, and I had to clear the nipple in order to fire. I changed cap brand, and the rifle worked fine. YMMV.

    New Batch Biltong

I was gonna be clever with something funny for ACV, but I came up with nothing. :dunno: Apple Cider Vinegar.

Coin Shop find, need help identifying

If you're near Houston, you could take it to Collector's Firearms on Westheimer. They are like a museum with the exhibits for sale. At museum prices, but if you really want something, well... They have knowledgeable folks that could probably provide some info. Good luck in your research.

    Greetings and salutations

Howdy and Welcome from The Woodlands. The Woodlands Vortex kept us safe from the tornadoes last night, and our house is high enough that we don't flood. Not all of Houston is so lucky. I hope you made it through safely, too.
