    Different types of caps

Springer was being sarcastic, I believe. He has been known to express his disappointment with CCI in the past. I think that's what he did in his comment. Sometimes New Guys misunderstand a comment, because they haven't been on the Forum for very long, and aren't familiar with the people. Maybe...

    Hard work

I found it on street scenes. The background scenery is beautiful! Pahrump is a small town a bit west of Las Vegas. We almost went there while visiting Vegas, but went to the Dam instead. That was cool, too! Vegas is set among mountains and desert, and there's a lot to explore that doesn't...

    New from Delaware

Howdy and Welcome from Texas, Bill! 🤠 If you have questions, just ask, since there are folks here that have done everything that you're going to do, and a whole lot more. And they have learned from their mistakes, so asking a question might save you from an Oh, Shi..... I lived outside Newark...

Dang it, brand new to this....

Howdy and Welcome from The Woodlands, on the edge of the Piney Woods, north of Houston! Folks on the forum here know what to do, and what NOT to do, regarding any bp stuff. Ask any questions you come up with, and you'll get plenty of info for free. Caveat Emptor, though. We love photos. Show us...

    tactical m/l

Some real beauties, to be sure! A bunch of the women were holding some sort if ID card with a pair of scissors, like they were going to cut the ID in half. Does anyone know what that is referring to?

Wanted - parts 51” Range Rod wanted

I bought several brass ramrods from October Country in exact lengths that I wanted, including for a Queen Anne pistol. I had them put female threads at each end, and I can screw in a T-handle and jags for whatever I need. I take the things off, and it's my underbarrel ramrod. I think I got the...

    wasting powder & caps

I bought a box-full of the rolled paper reenactor tubes on ebay, and have enough for my forever. We use them in the Texas Army. Some events allow pouring powder and then ramming the paper tube, or else we drop the empty tubes on the ground. You can fill the tubes with your own powder loads at...

Got a Pedersoli Queen Anne coming my way....

I don't think the slit will allow the flint to move back any farther than the 2-hole method, since the flint can only go back as far as the screw. The advantage of the 2-holes would be to hold the leather in place when moving or changing the flint. For that, I think it's a great idea!

    An embarrassing problem...

I bought a brass range rod from them that I carry as a ramrod. It was cut to my exact length, and threaded at both ends to take jags and whatever, including a T-handle. It was also antiqued, and looks great! It's heavier than wood, but you can sit on it and it won't break! :thumb: And it was...

How do you do this? What tools do you use? How do you form the rings on the horn for the lanyard? What else should I ask? I've got a rough buff horn, but I don't know where to start...

    New guy from New Jersey

Howdy and Welcome from Texas! I lived in Morris County back in the late '60s, and miss the weather and hills. Most folks don't realize how pretty North Jersey is, with the hills, trees, fields, and ponds. Iron ore for cannonballs was mined for the Revolution in Mt. Hope, my old neighborhood...
