    WORST DAY AT THE RANGE!

He is an *****. I had a guy who told me that I couldn't shoot my Sharps carbine because it was .50 cal. I tried to explain that a 50-70 Govt is far different from a .50 BMG cartridge. I finally told him to report me. Your friend would definitely not like me shooting my 80 grains of FFFg out...

    CLOSED 1859 or 1863 sharps

That is a tough one. Gunbroker is the easiest to find one, but prices run higher. Gunsinternational is another option.

    CLOSED 1859 or 1863 sharps

    Paper cartridge or conversion?

    Percussion cap search...

We are unusual in that we are the only state that has a flintlock, long gun, 44+ cal, only season. At one time the use of conical bullets was illegal as well. Now legal, but I still prefer a patched round-ball over conical bullets.

    Percussion cap search...

Yes. About 2 1/2 weeks after Christmas. It is a cold and hard session. Success is very low but I still look forward to it. Hopefully the cap gun will shoot the same RB load as my flintlock.

    Percussion cap search...

I broke down and bought a T/C Hawken in .50 cal to go with my flintlock. What size caps do I need? I understand from this site and others that they can be hard to find. My closest source is an hour away. We have an early ML only season here in PA where in-lines and cap guns are legal. But a...

    SOLD .54 TC Hawken w/Sling

The Hawken has more drop in the stock than the more common .54 Renegade. That caused me to sell my Renegades and go with a Hawken. Very nice gun.

SOLD - Pending funds Lyman Trade Rifle Flintlock, .54 cal

Interesting bit of stock work with the brass on the right side of the butt. Good guns. Makes me want to sell my .50 T/C Hawken and go back to .54

SOLD Thompson Center Penn Hunter Flint 50cal “Price Reduced”

I understand that some were made with fast twist rifling but vast majority are rifled for round ball

SOLD - Pending funds Thompson Center Seneca Renegade Hawken rifle .50 cal

I hate when people do that to a stock. Otherwise it is in real nice shape

    SOLD FS - T/C Hawken .50 *FINAL PRICE REDUCTION - $375 SHIPPED*

I suspect that the stock mods seems to keep guys away. But I think it is something that you might like after you shoot it...

    CLOSED Sharps Rifle or Carbine

I have a Sharps conversion carbine. Serial number not listed but in with a group of 20 issued to 10th Ill Vol Cav in 1863. Getting harder for my eyes to use the open sights but I find it hard to sell. You can find a nice original. Lots of history. Mine has a field repair on the stock where...

SOLD - Pending funds Beretta 12ga Over and Under Black Powder Shotgun

    T/C Seneca .45

Ah yes, the "I remember when...."

    T/C Seneca .45

I always though these were nice guns. We have an early ML season here in October for antlerless deer only. 99% seem to go to in-line. I cannot bring myself to own one so I carry a flintlock. But a cap would be nice.

    T/C Seneca .45

On another site I saw a .45 Seneca offered for sale for $575. It is missing the barrel wedge. Does this seem high?
