    I suggest pull the barrel out. Put it in your vise and flex it down while repositioning it in the jaws to flex it the length of the barrel not one spot. It wouldn't take much.     Had to get that black powder smoke in my nostrils again. 2 days back at work and all I want to do is be in the woods with a flintlock. Shot 3 squirrels this evening after work. Didn't get a pic of all 3. This is the first I've killed anything with the fowler I built in September.

    I do not know. It throws a nice pattern for small game. Definitely no 30 yard turkey gun. I've killed a good many rabbits and squirrels with it. Missed some deer last year with it.
