    Jack's Mountain Stock Company -videos

Mark Weader has become a friend of mine in the last year, and I was able to go to his place and interview him, and he showed me how he goes about his craft. I took a 3 part video series to help show you all how he shapes guns, inlets a barrel and drills a ramrod hole. Jim K went along with me...

Hot off the press, Smooth Rifled Fowler

Smooth rifled fowler... I'm sure everyone will have their own opinion and I'm not sure what I'm going to call it yet, my smooth rifle, or my fowler. I didn't follow any one particular builder or school. I just built what would please my eye. Something I can shoot roundball or shot out of. A few...

Traditional Pennsylvania hunt in the late season - anyone?

Absolutely. I have 2, 4B doe tags, a 4D and a few dmap tags but I doubt you'll want to hunt those dmap areas. They're pretty tough. We will see what I have left come late season. If I have my buck tag yet I'm definitely up for it then I can go wherever you decide. I'll PM you my personal info.

SOLD Dixie Gun Works Mountain Rifle Flintlock Locks

I have 2 Dixie gun works locks from maybe the 70s? They are right hand, brand new. Only one has a strike or two on the frizzen since I threw a flint in that one and watched it spark. It threw good sparks. I don't know the value of them but I figured they're worth at least $100 a piece. I can...

SOLD .45 Little Fellas Rifle Barrel

Thanks I got a 28" octagon to round in a 36 caliber for the kids gun. Mark Weader had it up at his shop. It's a Bobby Hoyt a barrel. He's putting it in the plank for me soon. This will be my first build from a plank rather than a precarve.. Itll be fun.
