    Schuetzen and Graf’s Black Powder

I could be wrong but I think Graf's house brand is Schutzen they have bought in bulk and packaged themselves, so it's cheaper.

    Uberti 1862 holster

Pete I thought about the bearcat but the few I found were closed bottom and 4.5”. My 62 is 5.5. I would attempt to make one myself but leather is over $20 a square foot. I like this one from Dells.

    Uberti 1862 holster

Pickings are slim for the 1862 on ebay but thanks.

    Uberti 1862 holster

Any leads on where to find a leather cross draw for this little gun? It's smaller than a ruger single six, maybe colt frontier scout size. I'd like to keep it below $50.

Do not buy an 1862 Police from Midway

What I said was the 1862 police I received from midway had a lot of problems, and I suggested if you want one, buy a used one made before 2020. I never said that "all avoid buying all blackpowder guns from Midway".

    Which caliber for squirrel rifle

I love my 32, It tears up any meat it hits though. I don't know how much worse a 36 would be.

Do not buy an 1862 Police from Midway

With my birthday discount I got the gun and 200 balls for $380 delivered, tax and all. I tried really hard to pass it up...

Do not buy an 1862 Police from Midway

No. I was expecting it to need a little work so I just dove in.

Do not buy an 1862 Police from Midway

I was hoping I would be one of the lucky ones but I wasn't even close. I don't have pics of the rough machine work but it was mostly where the hand comes through the frame and some razor sharp edges inside. I had to clearance the frame under the cylinder. It doesn't touch now but it's so close...

    Uberti.

Why would a ML rifle have a high POI?

High is better than low in my opinion. Just get a taller front sight and your done.

Do not buy an 1862 Police from Midway

I don't know if they get factory seconds or if they are all junk. It took me 4 hrs to get it to even cycle. The cylinder was hitting the frame and the barrel and rough machine work throughout. Buy a used one made before 2020!

So I was about to pull the Trigger on a nice Uberti 1858 but I think I might change my mind...

There was a thread earlier saying Midsouth Shooters Supply has them.

    Crockett cleaning question

Same as a hooked breech gun except you have to take out the tang screw.

    Antique double barrel flintlock

That's some Napoleon dirty harry stuff right there! "I know what you thinketh, did he shoot once or twice?" Well punketh, dost thou feel lucky?
