    My muzzleloader club had a shoot yesterday. After my unusual best-score-ever shooting at the December shoot, I’m back to normal. Had a great time anyway though.

    Set up my new (to me) tent that I bought at the 18th Century Market Fair so it could air out a little. It smells a little moldy, although I don‘t see any mold. I hope to get the smell out before the rendezvous. Since it was up I put in some of my “furnishings” just for fun.

    RWS 1075 Percussion Caps

    Nashville, TN. I've got plenty of CCI #11 but I thought I would try these. The box is marked 1075 but they are too small. They will go on my Hawken nipple but they sit high. Takes 2 hammer falls before they ignite, then it takes pliers to get them off the nipple.

    Went to the Lake Cumberland Longrifle show. Had a great time! Met Loja man and bought a knife from him. He does great work and he’s a great guy! It was a pleasure to meet him.

    I arrived on the scene just as Loja man was closing the deal. He was kind enough to let me handle the gun. What a sweet handling gun it is! His excellent photos don’t do justice to this great original gun.

    I believe you can. I’ve purchased items from folks there who didn’t have a table. No modern guns and ammo are allowed though.

    It’s a great show, several top craftsman and women will be there. Lots of original guns for your viewing pleasure as well as guns and knives and accessories for sale. Some call it the mini CLA.
