    Bazinga!!!!!! Cracked.... What to do?

I have to admit that I always have CA on my bench and it does work on wood but I forever complain about how many things it fails to fix too. I use carbon arrows with my Ravin cross bow and I found the inserts are held in with Ca. Every time I shoot a deer, the insert will be missing along with...

    Dirty job

Gutting of course, That gadget that spreads the chest does not work so I made a few things to try for the next deer. A change with each to see w, hat is best. When I crank the handles the jaws spread. Any other ideas?

Has anyone here successfully barked a squirrel?

Never again will I try it. The poor thing had to be shot directly after a few tries at barking. It had almost no hair left from those attempts. It is a cruel sndever.

Is That Seasoning or Fouling On My Patch?

WD-40 was surely made by the devil! The stuff will cause rust and will also build up and nothing but scrapers will remove it. NEVER on a gun!

    Weighing RBs?

If you cast properly, balls will maybe varie by a few tenths of a gr. I am retired but will never put a ball on a scale. One time I had little to do so I weighed powder charges and found the measure shot better then weighrd charges.

    Microcrystalline wax?

Something I learned long ago while testing lubes was anytime you recover a bullet of any sorts and find some lube left in grooves you have an out of balance condition. Lube should spin clean of a bullet at the muzzle for accuracy.

Unusual (to me) Bill Large barreled rifle

    Powder RE packaging

It has been proven that static will not ignite coated BP. Bit Bill is right, the factory plastic bottles are anti static.

Nothing worse then spending time to sharpen a chisel and catch the wife using it for a screwdriver. Women are worse then gremlins.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Friend brought his .54 woods runner to sight. He could not see the target since he broke his glasses so I had to shoot it. I was impressed and shot a 1" group at 50 yards. A little low and left so I figured his sight adjustments and wrote them for him. Kibler has a fine, fine product.

    Black powder or Pyrodex

My .54 seems to only like Pyrodex and accuracy is superb with shots touching at 50 yards and also able to hit targets at 200 meters. BUT, During shipping grains break and there will be a lot of fines in the lower part of the cans. I watched accuracy go bad as the can got low. I made a screen of...

    New Mexico iron sights regulation.

Nothing should be banned even those inline thingys but there are times to use them. Primitive should be just that and like when it is too hot to hang meat, if you can't see good then sleep in or get a disabled stamp. I have to give up most archery and special seasons because of weather. Unlike...

tightening the jaw screw pushes the flint out?

That leather is too thick for one thing. The bolt and washers must go too. Get the proper screw.

    Black walnuts

The wife wants some because we love them on pumkin pie. I hulled a bucket full. She says they have to age and dry for a long time. We have a nut cracker I think is called a Rocket. It has a gear on top and will break the nuts. I have filled the back of my Polaris 12 times already and just dump...
