    I have a Problem

Take it to a machine shop and let them do the repair. They can remove the broken easy out, the broken part of the primer adapter and check your original threads too. You should not have to replace the breech plug for just a broken easy out.

    C.S. Richmond Rifled Musket?

I can't say for sure but it looks like the patchbox is too short for a 55 rifle. A 55 rifle would have a 33" barrel of fairly heavy wall thickness and the entire US production came from Harpers Ferry. The 1860 date would be questionable for a CSA arm as Jackson didn't capture Harpers Ferry...

    Unknown smoothbore caplock. European proofs.

Any Potsdam bayonet (see post 11) will fit, they are interchangeable. They are out there but it will take some searching.

A nice video on the North-South Skirmish Association with footage from last week's Nationals!

Maillmaker that's one of the finest videos on the N-SSA that I've ever seen. Thank you for posting it. (39 year skirmisher here)

    Shortening an 1847 Rifled Musket

I hope you are asking about a reproduction and not an original.

    Unknown smoothbore caplock. European proofs.

It does and the tab looks like a spade when viewed from below. If, like me, one tries the bayonet on without freeing up the tab one will have quite a time getting it off. The catch will be frozen into the wood from rust even in a very good specimen and the barrel and nose cap should come off...

    .69 Caliber Fremont.

Taylors & Co. don't list one and both of their 42s (rifled & smooth) are out of stock. Dixie shows a full length rifled 48 in stock. You may have to cut one down.

Different sized wedge channel in Piettas?

In your close up photo of the left side you can see that the barrel lug where it meets the frame has a larger gap at the bottom than the top. It should meet there with no gap and you should not be able to bind the cylinder by driving the wedge in.

Different sized wedge channel in Piettas?

It looks like yours was made in 1999 and Pietta went to CNC machined parts shortly after that. The solution might involve some file work and a new wedge. BTW, your arbor is too short and needs to be corrected.

    Confederate Revolvers

The pin fire system predates the Civil War by 10 or more years and saw some documented private purchase use but the cartridge is entirely self contained and thus discussion of it and the arms is not allowed here. :( I wish it was but rules are rules.

    Hazard Compressed Powder Cartridges

I found this video very interesting and put it in the handgun section as it seemed to pertain. The first half of the video is the most interesting as that tells you how to make the cartridges which honestly looks like a lot of work. I have little interest in prepared cartridges for a revolver...

The bayonet is 21.5" overall and has a distinct socket and a triangular blade with a slightly concave grind on the bottom sides.

I think I know the model of this cap & ball replica, but not the manufacturer.

Have you checked the bottom of the barrel, the area covered by the loading lever when it's stowed? A photo of the junction of the barrel and frame from the bottom where the serial number is located might help.

    Unknown smoothbore caplock. European proofs.

You stole it for $100, cleaned up, with a good bore and parts replaced it'll bring from 7 to 9. A lot of skirmishers shoot them.

    Unknown smoothbore caplock. European proofs.

You are fortunate that it retains the sights, most have been removed along with the swivels. Correct Brown Bess swivels (Rifle Shoppe) are very close replacements. The rammer is a replacement, again the Rifle Shoppe has the correct one. The bayonet retaining latch is also missing, Rifle...
