    Pistol

It's a boxlock and not a doglock since the mechanism is enclosed in a "box". It could be English but I'm putting my money on Belgian. A nice piece.

    Help identifying!

I would disagree, as a one time newbie many many years ago I clearly understood the basic differenced between the first, second and third models without knowing details of the various models within each division. Even at that time I knew of the East India Company, India pattern, 3rd. model...

    Help identifying!

Not really a problem, just a starting point. I didn't think the reply needed a further breakdown as it was only intended to explain that an India pattern Bess wasn't a "made in India reproduction". :)

    Middlesex Double Barrel

Stay away from Middlesex specially since you are outside the US. https://militaryheritage.com/musket26.htm (when they get them back in stock)

    Help identifying!

Indian Pattern does not mean a gun made in India. The 3rd. model Bess is often refereed to as the India pattern.

    1800s percussion rifle identification

It's quite possible the seller called it a pre 1930 firearm to simplify life or misidentified it leaving the burden of proof on someone else if it ever became an issue. It may or may not be pre 30s and it may never become a problem.

    1800s percussion rifle identification

It's possible it may be newer than you think. Guns like this were sold by Dixie Gun Works and others from the end of WW2 on as inexpensive muzzleloaders. Whatever it turns out to be enjoy it.

    Fly Removal?

While I believe you have a problem with the fly that should not affect the full **** engagement. By the time the sear nose is ready to engage the full **** notch the fly is completely out of the way and shouldn't be a problem unless the fly is way oversize or an incorrect one. The pin for the...

    Mystery Charleville Musket 1837??

These are fairly common in the N-SSA and the higher end is usually $900+/- though this one has a bayonet which is probably $150 and it is complete. BTW this gun was never French but always Prussian. This is the model of 1809 later converted to percussion. I have never seen one that had been...

Is there anyone out there that can make a barrel for a muzzleloader rifle?

I guess that could pose a problem. :)

    Springfield Model of 1822/28

Kinsely has the last remaining stock of original parts from Bannerman's and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend contacting him. You'll have to call as he doesn't have a web site. From your photos it's well worth restoring and using original parts. Edward E. Kinsely [email protected]...

Is there anyone out there that can make a barrel for a muzzleloader rifle?

It's far easier and cheaper to have the original barrel relined to a desired caliber and twist than to have a custom barrel made.

I found an original civil war Enfield rifle.

That is not a Springfield stock. The lock and side plate moldings are far different and there are other indications too.

Williamson Arms Griswold & Gunnison Reproduction-Anyone Heard Of Them?

Val Forgett, Jr.'s Navy Arms Company was in business selling replicas by 1960 and possibly earlier. Replica Arms (no connection) came along just slightly after with basically the same offerings. Navy Arms bought Replica Arms circa 1965 and for sometime after the products came with both names...

snake eye's nipple wrench??? pics added

There's plenty of clearance around the nipples if not end on. An open end wrench should get the job done.

snake eye's nipple wrench??? pics added

Are the hammers blocking access? If so just strip the gun, remove the nipples, clean and reinstall. The Snake Eyes is a very simple gun and you'll be able to clean and lube the action too.
