    My new Tradition Deer Hunter .50 Cal. So excited to try it. I need to more powder was to expensive this week to get two so I went with one pound of 3 f until I can get 2f and 4f. Hope it shoots straight!

    Honestly I hunt on good days only mostly and plan on getting a powder horn. So this would be good for good weather day hunting I think.

    Thank you really excited to start this new hobby just bought my first flintlock want to make all my own supplies. I have a leather sewing kit coming to make a possibles bag out of elk leather. This should be a perfect first powder holder!

    That's what I thought. Nice hickory just my first project so have to figure out how to seal it inside and out without anything messing with the powder when hunting.

    I stopped taking wood when it took on a really nice shape. Soup can base would be best comparison.

    I put a piece of hickory on the lathe today. I was wanting to make a short starter but when I cut it off the lathe it looked like a nice powder holder. Haven't touched it since I wanted to see what everyone thought!
