    In Army Basic Training they had us lefty tape a piece of cardboard on our m-16 so the shell wouldn't hit us in the face. When I got to the 82nd Airborne I abandoned that and only rarely got a hot shell bouncing off my face. First shot r.h. muzzleloaders l.h. no problem! Now shoot left-handed...

    I shot my friend's t.c. Hawken and cap and ball pistol a year after getting out of the Army. (1974).I was hooked! Bought a Numerich Arms "Plainsman" and was off! Had 7 thru the years now have 2,...one flinter one cap lock. I'm a addict on m.l.s

    Kibler Lock Flint Size?

    I had my lock (not a kiebler) tuned up recently by cabin Creek m.l. They noticed I had a shim underneath my flint. I didn't tell them I only did it this one time cuz the flint was so thin. Anyway they were quite adamant to not do this cuz this would screw up the geometry of the lock! BTW they...

    Where did you find old Boone preferred smoothbores? He was a rifleman. His son Nathan said he carried a fowling piece at the BlueLicks battle but that was the only time I read he used one.
