    Just born tonight.

Its funny you brought that up. I usually always wait till the end of may to cut my pasture because of fawns. When momma tells them to stay.......they stay, bush hog or not and they don't move.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Last week I found a squirrel cooker fork I didn't know I had but all I found was the fork and no upright. This morning I dug through my junk and found a piece of 1/2" rod, fired up the torch and made a new upright. No purty but totally functional.

    Trying to lighten the cookware

Dave those are great examples. I usually go to events by myself so I don't require a whole lot for cooking. I'm finding that as I get older the cast iron is getting heavier 😉 and cutting down on my weight and unused items that I take will make things lighter and more enjoyable. Being retired...

    Trying to lighten the cookware

So I've realized I need to lighten the cookware, .....way to much cast iron. What do you folks take that gets the job done, yet don't take two men and a boy to load and unload. I'm thinking more tinware and less cast iron but what tinware?

    Cva mountain rifle

My philosophy is that "if I own it, I shoot it". Id build it and enjoy it. I may leave stuff behind when I go but I'm gonna enjoy it and try to wear it out before someone else gets their clam diggers on it.😉
