    Help, I have an Addiction!

Yes, I'm in that boat too. I've done two Colonials and two Woodsrunners since September. The results keep getting better, it's fun, it's relatively easy, the rifles look great. Hard to beat.

SOLD Completed Kibler Colonial, .50 cal, extra fancy maple

UPDATE: I carved a couple simple lines into the stock of this rifle. It was a first attempt for me and I'm pleased. I think the big stock of the Colonial needed a bit more "interest." It is still available for those of you who may be interested in its "new" condition.

Since there haven't been any real bites on this, it's going under the surgeon's chisel. I'm adding some lines to the stock. Will update when I'm done.

SOLD Completed Kibler Woodsrunner, .54 cal, extra fancy maple

Long shot, I know, but on this rifle, if anyone had a .45 barrel they'd like to trade for this rifle's .54 barrel, I'd be interested in that as well.

SOLD Completed Kibler Woodsrunner, .54 cal, extra fancy maple

On the Colonial I used tanic acid before the iron nitrate, which really darkened the finish.

    Browning Kibler lock

I've browned a few of his locks. I've filed off the casting marks, but didn't bother trying to sand/file off the "roughness" of the parts. Here's the results. Decide for yourself if you like the look. The top rifle I actually blued first, then browned, because I wanted to darken the look...
