    Looks like the flint is too far forward and not square with the frizzen. English, French or American flints should all last for dozens of shots with little wear. Bill

    I went out today and shot my .50 cal Pedersoli Kentucky flintlock pistol after replacing a broken sear spring. I love it. I installed a single set trigger several years ago to lighten the pull. Bill

    Stuck ball in a Thompson Center Hawken flint

    Dribbling a little powder into the touch hole should work. I always make sure the touch hole liner is at least 1/16" with a hand drill. Turn the gun on it's side and push a little powder in. Take it slow and be patient. Once you've got as much in as you can make sure the ball is seated as...
