    Jim Chambers York Pennsylvania 45 flintlock swamped barrel double set triggers tack driver. Expensive and more challenging build but worth the time.

    What is the deal with the fouling ring

    I have been reading all of these different lube solutions.have never had the issue.have been shooting black powder since the sixties l use spit never a problem does anyone else use this old method.The correct size ball and patch and powder charge is the ke to accuracy just me .

    Have been shooting from both sides all my life you can do it. You don’t have have a left hand gun but it’s a chance to buy a new one good luck.
