Kibler stocks OK for a lefty?

Exactly my point... There is a solution for the lefties, prove Mr. Kibler wrong, start your own company making only left hand guns and capture his left hand market share...or just keep complaining.

Kibler stocks OK for a lefty?

So....... How many original to the late 1700's trade guns or rifles are there still in existence and what is their percentage to right hand models. What did a lefty in 1790 shoot?

When did small caliber rifles become a thing and why?

History is replete with descriptions of meat/fish drying on racks.

    Repair or replace

I guess since it is a Kibler a new stock is an option, when you are dealing with older guns like the William Moore pictured above a new stock is not practical. Could it be done, yes, but not at anything like a reasonable cost, much more than the worth of the gun, or by anything but a small...

    Repair or replace

Here is a William Moore 11 gauge that was broken through the wrist much like yours and was fixed by someone that knew what they were doing (not me). Don't give up hope on a fix, if you don't think you can do it find someone who can.

I wonder how much Mr. Kibler has cut in to the Pedersoli market.

How do you tune a set trigger?

Harry, I am not being condescending but, do you understand how the set trigger works? Can you take the triggers out of the gun trigger plate and all completely intact? After taking them out, set the front and then release it with the rear trigger, do this until you understand how it works or...

    Rear sight for Kibler Fowler

You do not need one, you may want one but you don't need one. First, if you learn what your sight picture should be, how much of the barrel you should see, where the front sight should be in relation to the rear of the barrel, you can be very accurate without a rear sight. Second, if you do...

    Cleaning Kibler Woodsrunner?

If you do remove the barrel to clean it............ Put some wood sealer in the barrel channel, put some RIG or other rust inhibitor on the underside of the barrel, make sure the barrel pin holes are slotted just a bit (to account for wood swelling and shrinking due to humidity etc. and the...

    Loading from the pouch?

First of all, the grain structure of the broken ram rod was terrible so don't let that be your benchmark. Buy a good hickory ram rod from TOTW or similar, do not get a cheap dowel rod from the hardware store ( I usually buy several at the same time because hickory ram rods are good for lots of...

    How often to disassemble lock?

With a lock that is properly fitted up against the barrel there is no fouling or anything else getting down to the inside of the lock so really there is no reason to clean the inside of the lock. I only pull the lock off because it makes the rest of the gun easier to clean using one of those...

    forearm strengthening pro bed 2000

The main claim to fame of Acraglas is that there is no shrinkage, probably not a big deal for most BP applications but for bedding those modern style tack drivers it is the best. Unfortunately, it has a shelf life so don't buy a bunch and plan to use it over several years.

    Possible gunpowder related tragedy

Metal sparks is a completely different issue. Ferrous metal tools can produce sparks but those are similar to the hot metal sparks of a flintlock. BP or smokeless dust in the air from manufacturing is also different than your workbench, that dust has more in relationship with grain dust, some...

    Fowler kicking my tail

I have a 20 gauge Caywood, 60 grains of 2F, 600 ball and a .010 patch shoots very very good. This could be a bedding issue, make sure the barrel pin holes are elongated and the barrel is well seated at the breech

    Possible gunpowder related tragedy

This is a myth Static will not set off black powder, there have been tests, upon tests, purposely trying to set BP off with static and electric charges and it just does not happen. Search the internet and you can find videos of it. A Myth that will not die.
