$30 For Remington #10s The New Normal?

I have used some RWS caps recently and have found nothing wrong with them, they seem to work just fine. Grafs has them and it figures to .15 cents per cap, more than we used to pay but what doesn't cost more.

Controversial question. Short rodding a patched ball.

Trying to understand this “short arbor” on Uberti revolvers

How does it shoot? My Uberti 1851 shoots great right out of the box. Why start fixing stuff until you know you need to.

    what brand barrel?

For offhand shooting my most consistently accurate rifle for the last forty years has been a Jaeger with a Getz round bottom rifled barrel. The barrel is part of it for sure but the rifle just fits me perfectly. Benchrest? Lots of good barrels out there.

    Kibler 32 SMR

I filed my front sight down and after I got it sighted in realized I did not like it being so short (I am old, vision is not what it used to be). I ordered a taller front and rear sight from Bree and went through the process again and...........AAAHHHHH perfection! Nothing wrong with the...

    Tang screw"s" & torque

Personally I am a fan of Brownells Acra-glas, most epoxies have some small amount of shrinkage, not Acra-glas.

    Woodsrunner Recoil?

And it has a lot to do with how the particular firearm fits the individual, I have had 375 H&H mags that did not hurt me as bad as a 300 WSM that a friend owned, the gun slapped the bejesus out of me.

    WANTED RamRod Puller

Everyone has opinions, personally I had one of these and did not care for it and sold it. It takes two hands to operate which means you have to have some way of making the rifle immoveable and pull on the rod. Anything that lets you make the ramrod immoveable instead of the gun so you can pull...

    Wheel weight lead question

Yeah Yeah Yeah ....... don't get your panties in a twist. Oh you mean to say you did not ride a horse to the reenactment, yeah, heard it all before. Go to the top of the page where it says "Keeping Tradition Alive", nothing about wheel weights is of the muzzleloading time frame. Some of you...
