    I was in a pawn shop today and was looking at a brase frame 1951 in .36 cal. The only maprings on it are EIG NAVY on top of the barrel and on the left wood grip there is a big P burned into it.     Is it a real Colt Dragoon? Maybe the parts were made wrong and they are rubbing so hard as to not work. Reguardless I would be taking it apart. You may have a reason not to but I am that type that would. Heck, your soaking it in oils that can destroy the petina so why not just take it apart?

    Range report.

    I was using a well lubed. 015 patch from Thompson Center. I'm going to start shooting more so I can understand what it is doing. I need to worry where first shot goes since that is the only one that matters. After about five times I will know where it goes on first shot and then I will adjust.

    Crazy as it sounds my Machine Shop Teacher says Coconut Oil is the best lite oil there is. Way better then veg oil, olive oil, ect.
