    Holster Storage of Handguns

I'v stored my Pietta 1951 (brass frame) in a Cabelas slim jim holster for about 5 years now. Everytime i pull it out its in perfect shape. Just pulled it out last weekend after being stuffed inside my back pack for last 10 months and still perfect. I think it's got to do with love. Hate will...

    More nipple questions

I ordered a set of slixshots today with the slixshot nipple wrench. I will try the Treso Ampco at a later date. Why do the slixshot have holes on the side of the nipples. To me it looks like it would force gas to the side and spread apart the cap. We will see I guess. Also ordered some 1075/#11...

    Cylinder reaming before/after

I am new to this so I am going to ask questions. Are you saying that my bp cylinder in my .44 cal revolvers could use being reamed out by a reamer in order to bring all cylinders to a more uniform size? How do I know the reamed will not over size my cylinders. Can i not hone them to a size that...

    More nipple questions

I want the best nipples for my snub nose 1860 pietta. I'm going to try and make the most reliable yet fastest rounds. I also want both #10 and # 11 caps so I can shoot according to availability. What are the best nipples in 10 and 11 for my 1860 snub nose Pietta? Where do I get them? Do I...

    How many shoot bp only?

I have found that too many Americans are worshiping the right and the tool instead of the Creator who gave us the right to have these tools so I stay away from all of them as much as possible but I do keep in contact with my freedom with a few select tools and I have no need or want for more...

    Which .36 cal?

I watched Dulist1954 video on one of his gun builds and it looks fun and something worth trying. If all fails I can cut it down to 4 inches and try again,,,,, and then 3 and 3/4, then 3.5 then 3 and 1/4. I hear barrels are over rated anyway.

    Which .36 cal?

Thanks for the advise. I'm am no gun Smith but I do have a one year certificate in machine tool technology (tool and die maker with some CNC programming) which don't mean I will do it perfect but I should be able to get it square. Life is weird. I have a two year Associated in mechanics. I have...

    My new 1860 snub nose.

    Which .36 cal?

Was just at local Cabelas and they had 3 box of .36 cal balls. I grabbed 2 of them. Which .36 cal (.375) is this for? Cap and ball pistol or .36 cal muzzle loading rifle. What size of ball and patch should my mom's. 36 cal Senica take? If this is for pistol I have to get me a .36 cal pistol...

    My new 1860 snub nose.

Drove all the way out to the shooting range. Drove thru heavy traffic and then curvy roads. Drove right up to the gate and read the sign that reads " closed for emergency repairs". You would think they would call me and let me know before I leave the house.

    My new 1860 snub nose.

That would be 280 which is good for me. I only have 300 caps and 150 .451 balls. To the range. Actually Cabelas first then the range, after breakfast. I told the girlfriend at 9 to get dressed, let's go eat breakfast then the range. It's now 11 30 and she is almost ready.

    My new 1860 snub nose.

These are way nicer in person than they are in pictures. Very very nice. You know how sometimes you want a gun really bad and once you pay for it and play with it your kind of disappointed, not this one. More thrilled now than my first thought of it. Getting ready to go shoot it. In a one...

    I want a .......

I want a T/C Seneca but there are not any for sale right now. I want to build a kit gun. What kit guns are there that are small like the Seneca and in .45?

    T/C Seneca stock

Does anybody make an after market stock for the Senica. I want one in maple. Use my hardware and barrel and just put it on their aftermarket maple stock.
