    HELP!!! Cases for LONG guns?

I have unique cases for both my long guns. Gun cases by gun owners. Very well thought out!

    Help me choose a kit?

Kiblers always attract attention at the range. To people who know kiblers the precision is a given but the finishing is where the owner of the piece can shine. Sure you could slap it together and go shooting but there are just sooo many options to make it your own. I've built 100 kiblers in my...

    Help me choose a kit?

That "walking away" part is absolutely part of a build experience. I find when I reach the point that anything I do will not help, I stop. Sometimes it's just a few minutes to a couple hrs. Sometimes it's much longer . Then I'll be driving along or working on something else and the solution hits...

    Making stuff

here's the powder horn. It was my first shot at a horn. The spout is a 60 grain for my Pedersoli .45 Kentucky. I changed those nickel rivets out for antique brass.

    Making stuff

Yeah, most of what I got I either made or was gifted to me. I'm so-so period correct. I've got a couple Damascus blades (both look gorgeous and cut like a razor) but I know they didn't exist back in 18th or 19th centuries. Not to a mountain man or colonialist anyways. I also added some things I...

    WANTED Folding Tin Candle Box

Check this out from Garret Wade, It's a $98 but it's hard to argue with the quality. I think you can just get the lantern alone for like $68

    Talk me into it!

The nice thing about the size is you can cut that patch box lid back to nearly whatever you like. Take your time, get the shape the way you like it before you cut the stock. Your gun, your style!

    Wall mounted rifle display

The lock has an 1847 date on it but it was clearly a flintlock originally and converted to a bolster type percussion later. The bolster is gone but you can see where it has been welded. You can also see where the pan had been originally. I know the mixing of military stuff don't make much sense...

    What Was Under Your Tree?

That does suck. I had a house full of people and one of my bathrooms decided it needed the toilet rebuilt. Didn't cost a lot but not what I wanted to do on Christmas Eve.

    WANTED Powder horn brass parts

I think I got the parts from you after all. But anyway, I was given your name as a suggestion and I googled the name and it came back " permanently closed" sorry. Google steered me wrong once again. I removed the incorrect post!

    What Was Under Your Tree?

Well it kinda muzzle loading related, my son bought me a pair of Damascus leatherworking knives (which I'll use to make muzzleloading accoutrements) Rraaaazor sharp! He gave me a general cutting blade and a much needed skiving knife. Nice gift, really!

What Part Of Clean It Now Don't You Understand?

In basic we had the hottest water you ever seen in our latrine. I used to take the lower receiver group and run it under water so hot it would evaporate before it could set up. Quick spritz of LSA and I was good to go. I might have been one of the few guys who actually took his trigger assembly...

Oops... bought a non firing Replica

I think it's cool for what it is (if not a bit over priced) I have tower flintlock pistol probably made by the same company. I paid $40 for it at a gun show. Looks great on the wall. I have a few replicas and relics that I'm not afraid to display.
